Critics of the current administration and of the McCain campaign, along with
supporters of the Obama campaign, have all seized on the idea that a McCain
administration would essentially amount to a third term for George W. Bush.
They cite the similar or consistent policy positions of Bush and McCain on
taxes, foreign relations in general (and specifically on Iraq), social issues,
domestic oil drilling, judicial philosophies, etc.
The McCain campaign goes to great lengths to try to highlight any and all
issues where McCain disagrees with President Bush. This makes a lot of sense
when you consider that Bush's approval ratings are hovering in the low 20
percent range. But with all the efforts from his campaign to draw distinctions
between McCain and Bush, from McCain down to his advisors to his
designated representatives, one person has shied away from making a strong
case for the differences between George W Bush and John McCain. And that
person is named Sarah Palin.
Some speculate that her reluctance to take a critical stand against the second
Bush regime is because she is a loyal soldier in the conservative movement.
Others believe she hasn't criticized George W. Bush yet primarily because of
her continual trips to undisclosed bunkers where she avoids public comments
and where she only speaks to people with the last name of "Palin" or "McCain".
Still others contend that she is not really aware of who George W. Bush is or
what his policies are because they never came up at the Alaskan Secessionist
Party meetings she attended.
It is my belief, however, that the real reason Sarah Palin won't criticize
George W. Bush is because she is actually George W. Bush in drag. Think
about it. Have you ever seen George W. Bush and Sarah Palin at the same
time at the same place? Much like Batman and Bruce Wayne (only at a much
lower crime-fighting and intellectual level), they can not appear together in
public because they are one and the same person.
To use another analogy; Just like the wolf in "Little Red Riding Hood", George
W. Bush is trying to trick the American public into sharing its collective picnic
basket with him. "Sarah Palin's" shrill and grating voice is clearly not a real
voice. The goofy-looking "porno librarian" glasses that "Sarah Palin" prefers are
clearly designed to hide George W. Bush's beady little eyes from the American
public. Both George W. Bush and "Sarah Palin" tend to string words together
in nonsensical combinations that ignore the rules of grammar (as well as the
rules of logic). Finally, "Sarah Palin's" continued references to her husband as
"Alaska's First Dude" is a classic Bushism. No serious politician would try to
seem cool and hip by using such a lame and cliched nickname as "Alaska's
First Dude". No politician, that is, except for George W. Bush.
When people talk about a McCain/Palin administration being a third term for
George W. Bush, they don't realize how prophetic that comparison really is.
