Endorsement Request -
International Bluegrass Music Association
Dear International Bluegrass Music Association,

This isn’t an easy note for me to write, but I’m the kind of guy who is all about uniting people,
bringing different points of view together, and healing the wounds that have maimed our nation.
That being said, I’m going to be forthright with you; I don’t care for the banjo. In fact, as part of my
campaign for the presidency of the United States of America, I have vowed to try and outlaw the
banjo:

But sometimes we all have to suffer a little for the greater good. And from my limited exposure to all
things bluegrass (I once went to a wedding at “Planet Bluegrass” in Lyons, Colorado, and I have
been to Kentucky several times and West Virginia twice), I get the feeling that bluegrass fanatics
and banjo aficionados are the kind of people who don’t focus on the little things when it comes to
the greatness of the United States of America. I think if you’ll take the time to consider my individual
positions and the totality of my positive message, you’ll be willing to figure out how to play
bluegrass without banjos for the sake of America.

If you have any questions for me I’d be happy to try to address them. I’m confident that, after
analyzing my positions, you’ll agree that I’m the best candidate to lead our country forward. I’m not
asking you to abandon your passion for bluegrass music, I'm just asking you to do what is right for
our country, and join the Willard Revolution!

Thanks for your time, I anxiously await your endorsement,

Brad Willard
