Endorsement Request -Chuy's Restaurant
|

Dear Chuy’s,
I am a big fan of your restaurants, my favorites are the Southwestern Enchilada, the Baja Shrimp
Tacos and the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken (with boom-boom sauce).
Now that we’ve got the niceties out of the way, I’ll get down to business. Our nation faces a critical
choice in the upcoming presidential election. If you look at the major candidates, I think you’ll agree
that they’re all pretty boring. I see them as beef taco or chicken quesadilla people, people who aren’
t courageous enough to venture outside of what they know. I represent the only truly spicy choice in
this year’s election:

If you study my positions (and don’t get too scared here; by “study”, I really just mean “read”), I think
you’ll agree that, on this year’s election ballot, I represent the “Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken”
choice to the “Tacos” and “Quesadillas” represented by my opponents.
Further, I don’t think many if any of them would be comfortable having a couple of frozen margaritas
(no salt) before switching to Pacifico and having 3 or 4 of those with dinner, as I often do. They
worry about perception and image; I worry about having a good time eating Tex-Mex.
I’m not asking you for anything outside of your endorsement and your support. If you choose to
support me, I will commit to having you cater my inauguration ball come January (though we may
have to include Swedish meatballs on the menu as well, as I have made this promise to the
Swedish Prime Minister if he endorses me).
Cheers,
Brad Willard
