Dear Vice President Cheney,
You seem like a no-nonsense kind of guy, so I’ll get straight to the point. I want you to endorse me
and my campaign to become the next President of the United States of America.
I’ve written to George asking him to do the same, but between you and me I don’t think he’s got the
gumption to buck party politics and do the right thing (i.e. endorse me). But you, on the other hand, I
think you’ve got the strategic mind and a certain “je ne sais quo” (FYI, that’s French for “I don’t
know”) that will enable you to see my qualifications and how I am the right man to lead our country
starting in January. And I know you’ve got some pull with our current President, so I certainly
wouldn’t mind if you put in a good word for me with him as well.

thinking that the highest office in our nation requires.
You’ve proven time and time again, you’re not the type to back down just because you might be
“wrong” or because the polls are against you. I can assure you, if you do choose to support me
there will be many people who will say you’re “wrong” and your polling numbers may drop even
further. But that’s not important. What’s important, I’m sure you’ll agree, is America. And with that
thought in mind, I think the choice come November should be clear in your mind; Willard 2008!
