Non-Endorsement from "The Week"
Non-Endorsement from Bill Falk, Editor-in-Chief of
"The Week" Magazine
Dear "The Week",

First, let me state that I find your magazine to be the best source of relevant and consumable news
around.

Second, let me point out that this is not said as an attempt to pander to your vanity or to attempt to
sway your actions.

My name is Brad Willard, and I am running for President of the United States of America. Your
publication does such a good job of covering election news around McCain, Obama, Clinton and
Nader, yet you fail to provide coverage for an independent (yet very viable) candidate like myself. I
am so sure that my candidacy is what America craves and needs in this divisive age, that I am
willing to bet you $27.83 that, if you check out my website (www.willard2008.com), you'll agree that
my voice is a voice worth hearing (and maybe ignoring, but at least worth hearing)...

Thank you for your time, I look forward to reading your endorsement of me in a future (though
not-too-distant future) issue of your fine publication

Brad Willard

Dear Brad,

Having checked out your website, I have no choice but to agree: The Week is the best source of
relevant and consumable news around.

We'd endorse your candidacy if we did endorse candidates, but as a regular reader of our
publication, you must know we don't, and avoid taking sides in elections. Nonetheless, you would
have our full support, if we were able to give such support, which we cannot.

Thank you for writing, and thank you for being such a fine American.
